How to benefit from insurance coverage?
To facilitate procedures for patients, Global Care Hospital is keen on providing a smooth process for benefiting from insurance coverage. Patients are advised to contact the hospital’s insurance department to provide their insurance policy information and ensure coverage of the required treatment.
Emergency Admission Procedures
The following procedures apply to emergency admissions:
- Admission Policy: All emergency admissions are conducted by established hospital policy.
- Insurance Pre-authorization: When possible, the hospital will seek pre-authorization from the patient’s insurance provider for treatment coverage.
- Self-Pay Admissions: In cases where immediate contact with the insurance provider is not feasible, the patient or a responsible party will be required to sign an admission form and provide a financial deposit. This deposit will be reimbursed upon insurance approval. The patient is ultimately responsible for any costs not covered by insurance.
- Unaccompanied Patients: In the event a patient arrives unaccompanied, the hospital will initiate necessary treatment and subsequently contact the patient’s family or employer to address administrative requirements.

At the time of discharge, our team will guide you through the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and seamless process. You will receive all required medical documentation, prescriptions, and detailed instructions for your continued recovery at home.

Visiting Hours at Global Care Hospital, Abu Dhabi

- General Wards: Daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
- ICU (Intensive Care Unit): Limited visiting hours from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with restrictions to immediate family only.
- Maternity Ward: Daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with flexible hours for partners.
Please note:
- All visitors must adhere to hospital safety protocols, including hygiene and infection control measures.
- Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in certain areas for their safety and the comfort of patients.
- Visits outside these hours may be allowed in exceptional cases with prior approval from the attending physician.
